COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 Testing

COVID Rapid Antigen Test Kits

The campus was fortunate to receive Higher Education Emergency Relief (HEERF) Funds during the pandemic through June 2023 to purchase a large supply of COVID Rapid Antigen test kits that we were able to offer for free to the campus community.  Unfortunately, for all higher education institutions, HEERF funds are no longer available and we do not have additional test kits available.  Students will be able to continue to obtain free kits from the Student Health and Counseling Center. For employees, per Cal-OSHA requirements, complimentary test kits will only be provided to those employees who had a close contact at work and to employees in an outbreak area.  These will be provided at no cost by the Office of Environmental Health and Safety/Risk Management.

The FDA has approved an extended expiration date for a number of over the counter At-Home Rapid Antigen test kits. If you have a test kit that is "expired" and would like to know if it is part of the approved extended expiration use please visit the FDA's website for the list with the new expiration dates.

Free COVID-19 test options are offered by the Fresno County Department of Public Health.

As a reminder, please stay home if you are sick or not feeling well.  If you test positive, please fill out the online form immediately.  Students who are experiencing symptoms should contact the Student Health and Counseling Center at 559.278.2734 for further medical direction.
