COVID-19 Safety Measure Reminders

July 15, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your compliance in adhering to the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS) that we shared on June 21. As we welcome many of our colleagues back to campus, please familiarize yourself with the COVID-19 safety protocols currently in place for employees:

  • Face coverings:
    - Must be worn indoors at all times (vaccinated or not), unless in a private, enclosed office with the door closed, or when eating or drinking while maintaining six feet of physical distancing.
    - Recommended to be worn outdoors for people who are not fully vaccinated if six feet of distance between people cannot be maintained.

Employees can submit a concern here for the Office of Environmental Health and Safety to follow up with employees who are not complying with this requirement.

Employees who would like to request a face shield with a drape, or an N95 respirator to wear voluntarily (vaccinated or not), please refer to our online process.

All employees (vaccinated or not) should continue to complete the COVID-19 Daily Screening survey before coming to campus. If employees receive the red X after completing the survey, they must stay home, complete the online COVID-19 Reporting Form and contact their supervisor. The survey can be accessed in the Mobile@FresnoState app here or accessed in the banner of the Fresno State website.

We appreciate your compliance with these safety measures as we all need to do our part to ensure the safety of our campus community. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Kao, director of Environmental Health and Safety/Risk Management, at lisak@csufresno.edu.

Kind Regards,

Debbie Adishian-Astone
Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer
