COVID-19 Updates
Face Coverings
Fresno State no longer requires masks to be worn indoors, but based on updated guidance from public health experts, the University highly recommends that all students, faculty and staff, regardless of vaccination status, wear a surgical grade or KN95 mask indoors. Faculty will continue to have the discretion to require face coverings for their in-person classes as they evaluate the health and safety needs of their individual classroom environments.
Note: In accordance with CDPH requirements, individuals working and/or receiving services inside any campus medical facility and/or clinic (e.g. Student Health and Counseling Center; Gait, Balance and Mobility Clinic; Speech and Hearing Clinic) are required to continue following the clinic’s face-covering requirements.
Free surgical grade masks are available at:
- Student Health and Counseling Center
- Student Housing Atrium
- University Warehouse
- Student Recreation Center
- Fresno State Library
- University Student Union
Departments may request supplies through the warehouse order form. Employees who would like a higher level of protection may request Face shields, KN95 or N95 masks using this process order form.
