Important Reminder: COVID-19 Mandatory Testing Program

Colleagues,

Thank you to those of you who got tested last week! As a reminder, employees who are not fully vaccinated, including those with exemptions for medical or religious reasons, are required to get tested weekly.

Employees who are fully vaccinated and have provided proof of vaccination via the Self-Certification form in the My Fresno State Portal are not required to do weekly testing. Employees can upload their proof of vaccination at any time in order to opt-out of the mandatory testing program.

Testing is available Monday through Saturday in the Satellite Student Union (SSU). No appointments are necessary. Please refer to the Mandatory COVID-19 Testing website for specific times and instructions.  

The University is offering this resource on campus so employees are able to complete testing during work hours. Compliance with this mandatory testing program is critical in order to help ensure the health and safety of our campus community.

Email reminders will be sent to those employees who are required to complete the weekly testing. Please be advised that employees who fail to comply with the Mandatory COVID-19 Testing Program could be subject to progessive disciplinary action in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements.
