Spring 2022 Updates/COVID-19
Close Contact, no symptoms, not fully vaccinated
QUARANTINE REQUIRED. Do not come to campus or in-person learning activity/work location for a minimum of 10 days after your last exposure* to the person who tested positive for COVID-19.
* If you live with the person who has tested positive for COVID-19, the 10-day quarantine period starts after the last time you were in close contact with them.
Fresno State Student Housing resident: Immediately notify Student Housing at (559) 278-2677.
Employees: Notify your supervisor.
Submit a COVID Report.
Get PCR tested* at the campus testing facility at the Student Recreation Center no less than five days after your last date of exposure to the person with COVID-19.
*Rapid tests are not allowed because they are not reliable when you have no symptoms.
You may exit quarantine:
- Ten (10) days after you test positive (day zero) without further testing.
- If you test negative after five (5) days from day zero with a rapid antigen test from the campus testing center at the Student Recreation Center (Mon. - Fri. 10 a.m. 1 p.m.).
- You may exit quarantine as early as day six (6) with a negative test.
