Symptoms without a positive test
(Regardless of Vaccination Status)
ISOLATION REQUIRED. Do not come to campus or an in-person learning activity/work location for a minimum of 10 days. The day you begin feeling symptoms is considered day zero.
Per the CDC, you can become reinfected after having COVID. If you have recovered from COVID within the last 90 days, but start feeling symptoms, you need to confirm that you are not actively sick with COVID again.
Fresno State Student Housing resident: Immediately notify Student Housing at (559) 278-2677.
Employees:Notify your supervisor.
Submit a COVID report.
Get tested* at the campus testing facility.
- If you've recovered from COVID in the last 90 days, you will need a rapid antigen test (Mon. - Fri. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- If you haven't recovered from COVID in the last 90 days, you will need a PCR test.
Next steps after you get your results:
- If you test negative, you may exit isolation effective immediately, and return to in-person activities when you feel better.
- If you test positive, please submit a POSITIVE COVID REPORT.
